Our guestrooms are thoughtfully appointed including such amenities as fluffy bathrobes, hairdryers, custom toiletries, individual refrigerators stocked with bottled water and soda, irons and ironing boards, cable TV/VCR/DVD and clock radios/CDs.

Our breakfast is an event not to be missed! Guests delight in such regional favorites as freshly baked Anadama bread, apple stuffed pancakes, scrambled crab, thick cut bacon, homemade muffins and sorbets and many other wonderful foods. The five courses ensure that no one leaves the table wanting for anything! During the week, guests choose their breakfast time, within reason! On Sundays, breakfast is served buffet style to accommodate late-sleeping guests and church-going innkeepers.

The inn has an orange cat named Clyde in residence. The innkeepers also have a medium-sized "American Curbside Setter" named Julie. Both pets are sweet and loving.

Most Popular Rooms:

The Denison Room: Situated on the east side of the house overlooking the barn and back gardens. Large room with fireplace and spacious en suite bath with jetted clawfoot tub. Queen four poster bed, writing desk, dresser, arm chairs, roomy closets.

The Russell Suite: Was used as a dance hall when Colonel Russell ran his Tavern here in the mid-18th century. Queen four poster bed, writing desk, dresser, large closet, day bed in the sitting room, fireplace and en suite bath, jetted clawfoot tub.

Guests arriving before or after regular check-in (3-6 p.m.) please contact the innkeepers as soon as is convenient.

Reservation Notes:

Because of our intimate size, cancellations affect us significantly. Therefore we uphold a strict cancellation policy: Reservation changes (date or room): $25 Cancellation more than 7 days in advance of arrival: $50/room Cancellation from 7 to 2 days prior to arrival: 50% of total charge unless we're able to fully rebook your reservation Cancellation 1 day prior or less: 100% of total charge If circumstances require you to cancel, you may wish to ask a friend or family member to take over your reservation.
