The Inn at Cape Cod is located in the heart of Yarmouthport on the historic Kings Highway, now known as Route 6A. This magnificent Bed and Breakfast is close to beaches and island ferries. Built nearly 200 years ago by Joshua Sears, the Inn has served the public since 1838 and is on the National Registry of Historic Places.

This elegant former mansion offers luxury accommodation in its 9 guest rooms/suites (4 with fireplaces), which all have private bath, A/C, cable TV & wireless Internet access. The Inn's guest rooms are all delightfully furnished with antiques, and have sumptuous king or queen pillowtop beds.

A delicious 4-course breakfast & home-made afternoon treats are served daily, either in the sunny morning room or on the terrace overlooking the grounds. Breakfast menus change daily and can happily accommodate special dietary requests. Specialties include "fusion" entrees combining the best of American & European cuisine.

The Inn's landscaped gardens are shaded by beautiful mature trees and adjoin 250 acres of Yarmouth nature trails and woods. The Inn's location in Yarmouth Port village means that it is close to some very fine restaurants, and many quaint historic stores and landmarks.

Explore the many antique shops & art galleries along Route 6A, and visit Hallett's old-fashioned ice cream parlor. Visit the Edward Gorey House, which is now a museum and only 5 minutes walk away.

Walk through the hundreds of acres of nature trails directly behind the Inn, or stroll to the freshwater beach 5 minutes away. We are also only a short distance from a number of ocean beaches including Grays Beach with its magnificent boardwalk.

Cycle miles along the old "rail trail". For a romantic evening, dine in one of the fine restaurants a short walk from the Inn. Visit the J.F.K. Museum, a summer theater performance or listen to the Cape Cod symphony orchestra. 4 Miles to Island Ferries or a plane ride to Nantucket and Martha's vineyard. Ride the Cape Cod Scenic Dinner Train.

Walk along Grey's Beach boardwalk. Go sailing, fishing, birding, horseriding or whalewatching. Hundreds of miles of bike trails! Close to golf and tennis. Stroll along one of Cape Cod's best sandy beach.

The Sears Room is named after the Inn's founder and has a king-sized four poster bed and a sitting area with fireplace. Its four huge twin aspect windows and several antique pieces lend this elegant room its stately and historic atmosphere.
