Bed and Breakfast Description

Two historic homes - both built in 1917- and moved to their present location in 1996- provide the charming setting for Hibiscus House Downtown. The main house - The Van Valkenburg Home - is one of the best and last remaining examples in West Palm Beach of Frame Vernacular architecture with Victorian and Craftsman Bungalow Features.

A full-course breakfast is served each morning on our front porch or in the dining room. Fresh fruit is served daily to enhance our renowned delicious breakfasts.

Our bed and breakfast guestrooms are individually furnished to provide an intimate, relaxed setting. Step out the front door and enjoy a short walk to City Place, Clematis Street, the new Palm Beach Convention Center, and the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.

Hibiscus House Downtown Bed and Breakfast is a small property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. A 1 night deposit is taken upon reservation. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 7 (seven) days* prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation and authorize a $25 processing fee. In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than seven (7) days* notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund will be made. Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. We reserve the right to make room changes.
