![]() Welcome to the Atlantic Sojourn Bed and Breakfast located in historic Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. We look forward to welcoming you into our Lunenburg home and starting your day off with a complimentary full breakfast. For a new taste experience try our grits for breakfast or feast on a breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, toast... the menu goes on and the choice is yours! The Atlantic Sojourn Bed and Breakfast is the original home of W. C. Smith, the owner of one of the largest fish processing plants in Lunenburg in the early 1900s. Our home has been newly remodeled, and we have added a serene perennial garden with a pond where guests enjoy reading, talking, or sitting. Our rooms are on a separate guest floor, and all have ensuite bathrooms. For our guests traveling on bicycles or motorcycles, we have a garage for secure storage. Please do not hesitate to let us know what we can do to make your stay with us and in Nova Scotia enjoyable. We have lots of time to spend with you to help you decide where to go and what to do. We love to travel and have been to all of the Atlantic Provinces and think they are beautiful. Area Attractions and Activities: Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a great walking town filled with gorgeous architecture, great restaurants, lovely gardens, museums, quaint shops, and a working harbor. A comfortable ten-minute walk from Atlantic Sojourn will get you to the historic district. Period architecture, a variety of restaurants, four museums, quaint shops, a working harbor, historic district, whale watching, lobster boat tours, horse-drawn buggy tours, walking tours, kayaking, golf, tennis, birdwatching, beaches, photographic opportunities, Ovens Sea Caves National Park, close to Kejimkujik National Park and Peggy's Cove, and next door to picturesque Mahone Bay, famous for the three churches. For art lovers and collectors, Lunenburg has over 20 art and craft galleries that feature paintings, Inuit art, folk art, photography, pottery, quilts, metalwork, jewelry and many more unique works by Canadian artists.
