Area Attractions and Activities:
Inn is located across from Kalamazoo College tennis courts where the USTA boys tennis tournament is played each August, and Gilmore Festival concerts are played every other year. Gusts are a short walk from downtown Kalamazoo festivals and events, and a short drive to Western Michigan University events including the Gold Company Invitational in the Spring, the Medieval Congress in May, and football games in the Fall. A tandem bike is available for guests and a portion of the KalHaven bike trail is two blocks from the Inn. Other attractions include the Kalamazoo Nature Center, Kalamazoo Art Institute, Kalamazoo Valley Museum, and a host of dining options ranging in price and cuisine. The Inn is a mile from Bell's Brewery, and an hour from Founders Brewery, Arcadia Brewery and Dark Horse Brewery.

Ruth's Room overlooks the garden and is decorated in pale green, cream, and botanical prints. A Queen bed, reading chairs, private bath with tub/shower combo and decorative fireplace complete this room.
Bartlett Room: Floor to ceiling windows flood this second-story room with light. Decorated in blues and garnet with items suggesting the original owner’s newspaper publishing business. A King bed, private bath, TV, and assorted reading material await.
