Bed and Breakfast Description

Designed with romance in mind our bed and breakfast in Saugatuck Michigan, has a relaxed, friendly and casually elegant atmosphere. Located in town overlooking Lake Kalamazoo, we have incredible water views from many of our Inn rooms. Our dining porch overlooks the lake which affords you a breathtaking lake view during breakfast and fabulous sunsets at the day's end.

We are an award-winning circa 1856 Historical Bed & Breakfast with all the amenities of the 21st century. This Michigan bed and breakfast Inn is registered as a historical site with the state Michigan. We started life as a lumber mill, has had many commercial uses before it became the Saugatuck Hotel (which hosted members of Al Capone's gang) and finally in the mid-80's after being dormant for many year, this building officially became a bed and breakfast.

Each morning you are greeted with the aroma of our special blend coffee. A signal that breakfast can not be far behind.. A served three-course gourmet breakfast overlooking the water begins your getaway. Twin Gables Inn Bed and Breakfast always includes fresh fruit, made from scratch coffee cake and a hot entree. Linger over coffee and the daily paper, enjoy the view and make plans for a fun-filled day.

The sitting room of the Beaujolais is tucked into one of the gables of our Inn. A corner fireplace, loveseat and two windows to enjoy the view could be yours tonight. The pillow top king sized bed and newly remodeled bathroom completes this gorgeous room.

Both the Merlot and Champagne rooms have received a total transformation in June. The space is outstanding. The Merlot has a four-poster king sized bed with a pillow topped mattress, large sitting area with TV and a tub/shower combination in a lg. bthrm
