We offer clean rooms, good quality beds, private baths, private entrance. One duplex with kitchen and private bath. Bunkhouse cabin is perfect for a large group or family. We welcome those wishing a quiet retreat for a special conference, sports teams traveling to and/or from events. A complete hot breakfast daily: Alaskan-sized portions of world-renowned Sourdough Pancakes with homemade toppings, biscuits, fruit, juice, and omelets as well as other breakfast foods are served in our lovely dining room. Also, if you have special dietary requirements we'll do everything possible to accommodate those needs. Please advise us during the reservation call so we can be prepared. Handicapped guests are always welcome! We have a wedding chapel with a minister on premises. Rev. Willie Johnson is an Eskimo minister who sings and plays the accordion. Rev. Willie is able to marry or renew vows in our very own private chapel. Willie is also a certified Eskimo story teller who is renown on the peninsula for his story telling abilities! Authentic native arts and crafts for sale (subject to availability). Area Attractions and Activities: We are surrounded by beautiful mountains and are close to Kenai River and lake, great for trout fishing. World class Kenai & Russian River salmon fishing is approximately 5 miles from us. You can check out photos from this past summer here. All of the photos were taken at the Kenai or Russian Rivers. We can refer you to and make reservations for you with reputable guides for float & fishing trips or great hiking trails. There's great hiking within 5 miles of us that will take you on a 2 mile adventure to the Russian River Falls! The Russian River Falls is renown for it's close proximity to nature. You can spot a salmon leaping while bears and eagles where for just the right moment to get one! Another great attraction is the Kenai Fjords Tours which departs out of Seward. If you're lucky you'll see whale, otter, seal and waterfowl! We can assist with reservations so the tickets will be waiting here for you! Services: Library, TV in rooms, sitting room, bicycle Most Popular Rooms: We have 4 new bedrooms to choose from. These include queen rooms, separate from the main house with private entrances and shower/baths. These units enjoy a great view of the mountains and a deck to sit, visit, or rest and enjoy the fresh Alaskan air. We also offer 2 private sleeping rooms (including 2 beds in each room), with private entrances and full baths. A suite accommodation, including a full living room with fireplace, can be reserved with either room, or shared as a group. |
