Bed and Breakfast Description

The Nauset House Inn is a place where the gentle amenities of life are still observed... a quiet place removed from the cares of the workaday world... a place where sea and shore, orchard and field all combine to create a perfect setting for tranquil relaxation.

Just off the commons room, you will find the brick floored dining room. With its open hearth and beamed ceiling it lends an English pub-like feeling to the complimentary full breakfast that is offered every morning. Also located in the main Inn is one of the most spectacular features of The Nauset House, the turn-of-the-century glass conservatory. With it's weeping cherry tree, bricked floor and white wicker furniture, one has the feeling they have walked into a fantasy.

In addition to the main Inn, the Carriage House (located just steps away) offers some of the Inns larger rooms with private baths and sitting areas. With a view of the conservatory the Outermost House, a cottage located in the apple orchard, is a very special place. The room features; natural barn board, cathedral ceilings and a sunken bathroom with a faux painted sky.

Most Popular Rooms:

Rosebud: Located up a private stair above our dining room, it is often called our Honeymoon Suite. It features a queen bed with a private bath and a lovely balcony that overlooks the terrace. As a special treat, the balcony even has a peek at the sea.

Outermost House (our cottage): Features a queen bed with sitting area and a private bath. Outermost is perfect for people who like privacy and quiet. Located in our apple orchard, it is a welcome retreat for those looking for some rest and relaxation.
