Bed and Breakfast Description

Our charming historic inn features a wonderful restaurant and fully licensed bar, along with 37 charming rooms, all unique and varying in price.
Our outdoor veranda is the perfect spot for a glass of wine and watching the sunset over the bay, while the romantic dining room is a wonderful spot for romantic dinner for 2, or we may have a wedding reception, so please inquire!
Our room are on 3 floors, the main floor has 5 rooms, and 2nd and 3rd floor have 19. all have private bath but vary from more "vintage" style without TV,to deluxe whirlpool suites with lots of amenities. All are wireless enabled and include breakfast. Rates are based on double occupancy, but occasionally we can accommodate a third person with a hightop air bed.

The Bay View Terrace Inn and Restaurant is a charming Historic Hotel offering 37 rooms to choose from and a great restaurant with creative specialty dishes, many of them featuring Michigan produce, whitefish, and perch! So much to do nearby, yet you feel worlds away in our off-the beaten path location in the heart of Bay View, a National Landmark community established in 1875!
We're close to all the unique shops in Petoskey, Lake Michigan shoreline, and tons of recreation!

Most Popular Rooms:

Our standard rooms are what we call "cottage style" in keeping with a vintage flair. They are updated yet retain character and charm. All have a private bath and include breakfast and wireless internet. Each has either 1 queen or 2 twin size beds.

We have two styles of suites, whirlpool and deluxe whirlpool. Both have a mini-frig, microwave, and coffeemaker, and fireplace (electric with remote), and cable tv as well as wireless capability. The Deluxe suites have a larger whirlpool tub and King bed

Please let us know in advance if you will be arriving after our front desk closes. Hours vary seasonally, generally 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. off-season Tuesday-Saturday and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily June through August. We are happy to arrange your arrival anytime.
