Enjoy the warmth and charm of the Ship's Knees Inn Bed and Breakfast, a 180 year old, restored sea captain's home in East Orleans that offers guests a unique New England lodging experience with all the conveniences today's traveler has come to expect.

We are located just 1/4 mile up the hill from one of North America's most outstanding beaches, the famous, sand-duned, Nauset Beach, the southernmost beach on the Cape Cod National Seashore.

Each of the rooms is individually decorated in a distinctly nautical style, with special colonial color schemes and authentic antiques to enhance the "Yankee" atmosphere. Handpainted trunks, old clipper ship models, braided rugs and four poster beds are just a few of the delightful accents to be found in the Inn's 16 guestrooms.

A complimentary continental breakfast is offered, and it might consist of tasty carrot and blueberry muffins, homemade breads, cinnamon toast, English muffins and juice, coffee, tea and/or hot chocolate.

In addition to the 16 rooms at the Inn, we have accommodations 3 miles away, overlooking Town Cove. The Cove House offers 3 rooms, a 1-bedroom apartment and 2 heated cottages. Children are welcome here.
