Bed and Breakfast Description

Rehoboth, Massachusetts bed and breakfast: Gilbert's B&B

The 174-year-old farmhouse is surrounded by 17 acres of trees and pastures. Peaceful. Hearty country breakfasts are served. Rooms are designed with guests' comfort in mind. Two spacious bedrooms with private baths are available on the first floor complete with fireplaces.

Three quaint bedrooms on the second floor share a full bath. Sitting rooms offer quiet places for reading and listening to music. Available for overnight workshops, seminars and retreats. Hostess, Jeanne Gilbert, is a retired newspaper writer and horseback riding instructor. Her husband, Donald Beardsworth, is a retired print shop worker. Both enjoy dancing, hiking, going antique shopping, concerts, traveling, eating out, and golfing.

In 1987 we were named Massachusetts Tree Farm of the year.

We opened our doors to B&B guests in 1984. Our guests have come from many countries, each bringing stories about their lives and their heritage.

To celebrate our 25th anniversary we are offering a 25% discount on the second of two consecutive nights. The offer expires December 31, 2009.

Many guests stay at Gilbert's B&B for several nights to enjoy the peace and quiet after many day trips to local attractions.
