Bed and Breakfast Accommodations

We have room for four to five guests at Lakeside Farm Bed & Breakfast. The two guest rooms are on the second floor of the farmhouse; one is furnished with a queen size bed and the other with twin beds. The bathroom and shower, located on the same floor, serve both guest rooms.

Enjoy a long, leisurely morning in bed until you're awakened by the tantalizing smell of Joy's home-cooked breakfast. Feel free to explore the grove, barns, and pastures, or just relax with a cup of tea in the farmhouse.

We welcome guests all year at Lakeside Farm, a perfect overnight stop on your way to or from the Black Hills, only a day's drive away. We are located 15 minutes from U.S. Highway 12 and only 20 minutes from Northeastern South Dakota's beautiful Glacial Lakes.

One of the greatest spots for fishing in the country, and now ice fishing. The county is running over with fishing people.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Waubay Lake, right in our pasture, is the hottest fishing spot in South Dakota. Has surpassed the Missouri River fishing. Walleyes and Northerns.

Most Popular Rooms:

For fishing folks, the lower level room and adjoining kitchen area and family room are special. For others, the north upstairs bedroom with queen bed is attractive and comfortable.

Some folks prefer the south upstairs bedroom with comfortable twin beds and more light. A larger room with a desk and walk-in closet.
