Bed and Breakfast Description

Scenic Valley Inn is a log home built in 2003, combining rustic simplicity with modern comforts and conveniences. Located three miles outside of Manhattan, Kansas, the Scenic Valley estate offers twenty acres of beautiful, heavily-wooded privacy… a perfect retreat from the whirlwind of daily life.

Our bed and breakfast features three guest rooms, each with private baths. At Scenic Valley Inn, our specialty is providing married couples and families with the getaway of your dreams. Choose the Americana, the Woodlands, or the Oak View – one of them is sure to suit your fancy.

You’ll know the moment you arrive that you’re about to experience something special. Cross the bridge, wind around the log barn and continue up to the house, where special parking for guests is provided right at the front door.

We host wedding parties, grooms or brides and families and friends. Brides book our Honeymoon Suite to stay pre-wedding, have breakfast with bridesmaids and Mother, then dress for the day and walk down the hill to say their vows. Grooms may also rent a room for the day to spend time with groomsmen and Dad.

We've hosted many weddings on our Meadow and receptions in the barn. It is a favorite place for Rehearsal Dinners too. Catering list available.

Three miles outside Manhattan,Kansas. Less than five minutes from Colbert Hills, a world-class gold resort. Stagg Hill golf course, Kansas State University, Country Stampede, Ft. Riley, and many other Manhattan area attractions are also just minutes away. Scenic Valley Inn is near Tuttle Creek and Milford Lake for your boating, fishing, hunting, camping, and picnicking pleasure. Play sand volleyball, softball, soccer, miniature golf, use the driving range, or just go for a hike at Anneberg Park Sports Complex – it’s less than three miles away.

Most Popular Rooms:

The Woodlands is our largest room,approximately 16 feet x 30 feet. It is available with a king, double and trundle (2 single-size beds) pak-n-play. Fully furnished with a couch, recliner, table and chairs, as well as wireless,fridge,micro, coffee maker

The Oak View is 2nd Honeymoon spot. It features a king bed with ultra-suede comforter. Decorated in a North Woods earth-tone theme complimented with navy, sky blue and oak siding. You’ll find the Oak View perfectly private and relaxing. Great scenery

Reservation Notes:

2 week notice cancellation required prior to Reservation Date. $25 cancellation fee for any reason, or credit for future stay depending on circumstance.
