Bed and Breakfast Description

Originally built in 1926, but newly renovated and expanded, The Anniversary House combines the traditional warmth and character of the period but adds the comforts and amenities of today (including cable TV/DVD, air conditioning and a private bath in each room)!

All five bedrooms are as different in character as the four seasons, from fall to summer and spring; each room has its own unique setting that captures the feeling of a year round getaway!

If you’re looking for a relaxing cozy room try our Oceanside Room with its lovely built in fireplace. Or how about a nice bright spring time feeling of being surrounded by sunny yellow roses in our Spring Room! If the green grass of summer is more to your taste you’ll adore our Summer Room. The golden tones of autumn that set one at ease will make you want to relax in the Fall Room. And if all four seasons are your fancy and you can’t decide which to choose try the Country Suite for a sweet down home retreat!

Awake every morning to the delightful aroma of a full gourmet breakfast that you can enjoy in the comfort of the dining room or out on the deck basking in the morning sunshine and fresh air of Cedar City.

Shakespeare Festival-Award winning plays offered June-October
Cedar Breaks National Monument offers amazing views for either a scenic drive, or an afternoon hike. The monument itself is just 20 miles east of Cedar City on highway 14 and features spectacular red rock pinnacles, ridges and buttresses in addition to the dense alpine forests and wildflowers. Perfect for nature walks, picnics and just enjoying the local wildlife, it is not hard to see why Cedar Breaks is one of the most cherished local attractions.

Tuacahn Amphitheatre & Center for the Arts in Ivins, Utah is the home of a 2000 seat outdoor amphitheatre surrounded by red rock cliffs. This year’s plays include The King and I, The Wizard of Oz, and The Unsinkable Molly Brown.

Cedar Ridge Golf Course located along the red cliffs in east Cedar City. This wonderful course is an 18-hole course, and is as challenging as it is lovely. The clubhouse is home to equipment rentals, golf carts, and a snack bar.

Most Popular Rooms:

Summer Room: This room features a king-size bed and has period wallpaper in deep green and bronze tones. An antique empire style sofa sits and the end of the room providing a nice relaxing separate seating area. Ceiling fan, and cable TV/DVD in the room.

Fall Room: King Bed. A chair and ottoman for relaxing in is at one end of this very large room. This room is handicap accessible. Large windows and period wallpaper give this room a nice cozy feeling that makes it a perfect spot for a nice retreat.
