In 1891 physician/surgeon Dr. F.F. Bryan purchased a lot from James Y. Kelly on West Main Street. Construction began of a stately red brick Queen Anne. A front elliptical window of stained glass and other windows are set off with rusticated stone arch work. Porches are neo-classical. The interior features 11-foot ceilings, magnificent inlaid strip oak flooring, walnut woodwork in the grand hall and staircase, and elaborate plastered ceilings on the first floor. The owners, Stan & Jan Sekula of Bryan House were former owners of the award- winning Reynolds House Bed & Breakfast in Sturegeon Bay, Wisconsin.
