The Outdoor Inn
Tybee Island, Georgia.
The view from the large screened porch of the Outdoor Inn looks South across miles of salt marsh and winding creeks. It's a great place to sit in the evenings and watch the egrets and herons that frequent the creek.
Bed and Breakfast Description

In spring and fall, the migratory birds stopover as well, encouraged by our well-stocked birdfeeders. Indoors, guests can relax in the comfortable great room, enjoying the book selections or studying the many charts available. All guests have access to the fully equipped kitchen. The main floor has three private rooms. The top floor is a family suite that includes a private Jacuzzi bath, two rooms (one large and one very small), and a private balcony with sweeping views of the marsh. Two outdoor showers with hot and cold water are available for after boating or beach.
When the day is done you prefer to sit on a spacious screened porch and watch the sunset over the marsh... rather than in front of a TV in a hotel room cubical. Meeting everyone's needs on a vacation can be challenging, and the Outdoor Inn, Sea Kayak Georgia, and Tybee Island together create a perfect set of options. You like to meet new people who have common interests, who share your love of the outdoors. You want to observe birds at daybreak and sunset, and in between. You can make your own coffee better than anyone else you know. You like having the option of cooking for yourself. You want to be next to a premier kayak facility for the kayakers and those wanting to learn to kayak in your family. You want your husband/wife to be next to a premier kayak facility, but you want to sit on the beach or porch. You also came to the coast for peace and quiet, and would like a bit of space between you and the party.
