Lark and Michael McCarley, Innkeepers, welcome you to Lovelace Manor Bed and Breakfast. Located in Lancaster, the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country, we are just minutes away from numerous historic sites, Amish farmlands, outlet shopping and abundant antiquing.
Built in 1882, our home has been described by the Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County as one of the more elegant examples of the Second Empire style domestic architecture in the region.
From the ornate porches with brackets and pendants, to the interior elements of 11-foot ceilings and etched glass doors, visitors have an opportunity to step back in time.
As our guest, you are invited to enjoy complimentary afternoon refreshments in the Victorian parlor or on one of the porches. Or if you prefer, a relaxing game of billiards awaits you in the game room. We also provide a collection of books and videos for your enjoyment.
And for the business traveler, there is wireless internet and a fax machine for your convenience. Each morning you will be treated to a hearty breakfast including fresh fruit juices, baked goods and hot entrees served in the dining room. We will be glad to accommodate any special dietary restrictions.

Area Attractions and Activities:
Tour the Amish Farmlands, visit the Strasburg Railroad and ride an old Steam Engine train to Paradise, Hershey Park is 25 minutes away. There is numerous places to shop including the Outlet Malls and Farm markets. Abudant antiquing and wonderful theaters such as Sight and Sound, Dutch Apple Dinner Theater and the American Music Theater. Downtown Lancaster offers art galleries, shops, restaurants and the oldest indoor farmers market in the country.
Most Popular Rooms:
The Rose Suite is a beautiful private suite consisting of a large bedroom with a king size bed and electric fireplace. The cozy sitting room has an additional TV and fireplace. The original 1882 bathroom features a canopy draped clawfoot tub.
The Lucasta room is perfect for longer stays. The largest of the bedrooms, it has a king size bed, an electric fireplace, large mahogany desk and the private bathroom has a tiled shower.
