The historic Hotel Charlotte offers guests a choice of 10 individually decorated rooms. With our mix of queen, double and twin beds along with a few connecting rooms, we can accommodate almost any mix or group of travelers.

Sporting an expansive balcony overlooking downtown Groveland, guests often relax with an appetizer and wine or cocktails from our bar while enjoying the cooler evening temperatures. A buffet breakfast featuring our 1/2" thick pancakes, scrambled eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal, breads and more is available each morning to hotel guests. Those leaving early will get a simple to go breakfast.

The Café Charlotte offers a delicious dinner menu featuring pastas, chicken, steak and seafood with off-menu specials. We offer choices for vegetarians, vegans and a kids menu. Dinner is served Thursday thru Sunday evenings from 5:30.

Pine Mountain Lake Golf Course, Country Club, Airport and Stables are just minutes away. We are perfectly located for pre- or post-Tuolumne River rafting trips, and Yosemite National Park's entrance is just half an hour down the road.

The region abounds with local artists displaying lovely watercolors, photography, oils, quilts, carvings and so much more! From the Iron Door Saloon, the Victoria Room, Cafe Charlotte, Two Guys Pizza, Stan's BBQ (and more!), dinner offerings extend to whatever your tastes might be.

We are within minutes of world class white water rafting on the Tuolumne, Hiking in the Sierras & Stanislaus National Forest and more. Within an hours drive we have wine tastings, caverns, skiing, snowshoe trails, live theater, big trees, historic Gold Rush villages and more!

Most Popular Rooms:

Room #9: A quiet room with a raised wrought-iron bed and clawfooted tub, new wallpaper, wainscotting and carpet. This room has great appeal to those seeking a touch of history and spirit.

Room 12 has been recently remodeled and now sports a deep jetted tub. The large Chamber room with two queen beds is great for young families or those on a budget.
