Bed and Breakfast Description

Enjoy a game of cards, sip a cup of fresh-brewed tea, chat with friends, or just curl up in front of the fire with a good book from our library, in the old-fashioned, quiet ambiance of our Victorian parlor.

Teas, coffees, decafs and locally baked gingerbread cookies are available 24 hours a day in the small lounge behind the parlor. Also, you can enjoy an assortment of old movies, or watch the news if you like.

Outdoors take an historic walking tour of Weaverville, visit the museum and Joss House just 3 blocks away.

The Weaverville Hotel and Emporium has within a two block radius, a gym (guests have gym privileges), a coffee house, several good restaurants, two antique stores, the recently renovated Trinity Theatre, several art galleries, the historic Chinese Joss House, and the Jake Jackson Museum and Blacksmith.

There are several interesting shops as well, including our own 1,000 sq. ft. Emporium featuring fine chocolates, old books and photos, antique reproduction silver jewelry and collectibles, European fragrances and soaps, retro-style clothing, and other gift items.

Most Popular Rooms:

Room 1 "LaGrange": It has a queen-sized four-poster bed, a full-sized sleeper sofa, a full-sized gas log fireplace, and a claw-footed "champagne" tub in addition to a kitchenette and t.v. (This is the only room with a television.)

Room 3 "Bully Choop" is our honeymoon suite: Furnished with a queen-sized four-poster bed, a faux pink marble fireplace with comfortable sofa, and claw-footed tub. This room looks out over the historic Band Stand and the Court House and Trinity Alps.
