McFarlin House
Quincy, Florida.
Tobacco farmer John McFarlin built this Queen Anne Victorian, notable for its left-handed turret and grand wraparound porch, in 1895. Listed in the National Register.
Bed and Breakfast Description

As soon as you walk through the front double door, you'll understand what makes this inn so remarkable. The first site to catch your eye is the magnificent front staircase that is made of hand-burled curly pine. Don't forget to look up at the original pressed copper and brass ceilings. They are found in every room on the first floor and each have a different pattern.
The rounded landing has witnessed many brides and grooms as they say "I Do". From this grand entry you can glimpse inside the large pocket doors of our front "Ladies Parlor" which holds photograph albums of the McFarlin House restoration as well as scrapbooks of some of the many weddings we have hosted. The intricately designed and carved fret work and fireplace mantel were both imported from France especially for John McFarlin. A grand entrance to a magnificent home.
The home boasts original woodwork, hand-carved mantels, Italian tile work, and stained window pieces. Romantic guestrooms and common parlors are decorated with antique furnishings. Without sacrificing modern conveniences. Please take a full tour on our homepage.
A full-breakfast is served every morning between 6:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at a time that is convenient for you. Please notify us of any dietary restrictions. Each guest has access to our complimentary Courtesy Room that is stocked with soda, bottled water and other snacks. A refrigerator, microwave and ironing board are also in this room for your convenience.
