Bed and Breakfast Description

Built in 1898 with all the grandeur of the Victorian age as a wedding gift for his new bride, this shingle-styled mansion was originally the residence of Charles H. Berry, a prominent local merchant. Today it remains one of the most stately homes in Rockland, Maine and the area's premier bed and breakfast inn. The inn is also recognized as a Environmental Hospitality Leader by the State for our green practices.

Evening sweets featuring homemade pies made by the Berry Manor Inn Pie Moms (featured on Food Network) are just one of the many treats we offer our guests. Begin your day with fresh, hot coffee served in the second-floor library at 7 a.m.

Enjoy a full, multi-course breakfast in our elegantly appointed dining room any time between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Choose an intimate table for two by the window or ask us to set up a table if you are traveling with a larger party. With advance notice, we can also arrange for an earlier or later meal to better fit your travel plans, or plan a menu to accommodate special dietary needs or food allergies.

Our guest rooms are each uniquely decorated but all appointed with the same attention to detail aimed at anticipating our guests travel needs. Free high speed internet access, in-room phones, temperature controls, high-end toiletries, robes are all standard.

Room 12: A hand-carved four poster king canopy bed draped in flowing silk fabric is the centerpiece for this luxury room. A corner fireplace, TV, sitting area and a spacious private bath with an oversized 2-person whirlpool tub & custom bodyjet shower.

Room 1: Once the private boudoir for Mrs. Berry house, this grand room features a king-sized mahogany bed, soft double chaise and a working wood burning fireplace with original tile. The private luxury bath has a whirlpool tub with double shower heads.
