Bed and Breakfast Description

The ocean views are beautiful from the Cedar House B&B and it is located "off the beaten path" in the Captain Cook coffee farming area. Surrounded by big trees and tropical fruits, the peacefulness of this area is calming and immediately, one has the feeling of stepping back in time.

A variety of accommodations are offered and all rooms have private baths. There is a new, beautifully appointed 2 story apartment with kitchenette and bathroom with shower, and a separate 2-bedroom coffee cottage with full kitchen.

Your hosts offer warm, friendly advice and a superb breakfast buffet!

Area Attractions and Activities:

Great snorkeling and kayaking with dolphins in nearby Kealakekua. Visit the historical City of Refuge, go fishing for ahi, mahi mahi and marlin. An active volcano is located just 1-1/2 hrs. away, as well as Mauna Kea where you can ski in season or gaze at the stars. A wide variety of fabulous beaches to choose from nearby.

Ulu Room: This ground floor room is decorated Island style, with ocean and coffee farm views. This large, comfortable room includes a king size bed, futon sofa, dining table, microwave, small refrigerator and private bath.

Hibiscus Suite: Self-contained, 2 story apartment. Personal entrance through small garden. Lower level living area and kitchenette. Upstairs large open master bedroom with queen bed and small second loft-style room with 2 twin beds (perfect for children).
