Bed and Breakfast Accommodations

San Antonio, Texas bed and breakfast: Bullis House Inn

This historic San Antonio TX B&B was built between 1906 to 1909 for General John Lapham Bullis, a well known frontier Indian fighter who commanded the Seminole Indian Scouts called the "Buffalo" Soldiers and played a key role in the capture of Apache Chief, Geronimo.

Bullis House is a registered State Historic property. Another Texas plaque on the property is in recognition of an additional historic event held behind Bullis House.

Bullis House maintains much of the original architectural features. The Inn has been family owned and operated since 1983, and was voted by the San Antonio Hotel and Motel Association as one of the Best B&B Inns in San Antonio.

Breakfast is served inside the large dining room with its claw-foot oak tables, fireplaces, and crystal chandeliers. Breakfast may consist of quiche, potatoes with onions, yogurt, assorted cereals, breads, coffee, tea or hot chocolate and our famous whipped orange juice. We also serve other wonderful dishes such as Belgian waffles with strawberries, eggs Benedict and more...

After breakfast, or in the cool of the evening, you may wish to walk past the many historic homes of adjacent Fort Sam Houston. The new museum is just blocks away and you can catch a river taxi to downtown or visit the Historic 1886 Quadrangle and see peacocks, deer, rabbits and other animals or view fort museums. Restaurants, post office, shops are also nearby.
