Bed and Breakfast Description

Stay with us and you will be close to hiking trails in Volcanoes National Park You can enjoy a trip to Punalu'u Black Sands Beach, South Point, and many other scenic points. You are in a world all your own. You'll be nestled among centuries old trees yet be within walking distance of several wonderful restaurants in Volcano Village.

We have 4 separate cottages.
* Ohelo Berry Cottage - one bedroom studio
* Artist's House - two bedroom house
* Lehua Blossom Cottage - one bedroom house
* Ohia Forest Cottage - one bedroom house

All have private bath. All are nestled into the forest for maximum privacy. Highspeed internet access on the property.

If you would like advice on how to maximize your time we are here to help. We have logged many miles hiking in the park. We visited the island for twenty years before moving here and we are happy to share our knowledge of the island and its many attractions.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a five-minute drive from the cottages, offers hundreds of miles of hiking, from easy to arduous, also biking and horseback riding; lava viewing; golfing, too, is five minutes away. Wine tasting and gift shop at local winery. World class art center. Punalu`u Black Sand Beach is about 35 minutes away.

Most Popular Rooms:

Artist's House is a two-bedroom cottage with queen size beds, full kitchen, wood stove in living room for chilly evenings at 4000' elevation, will sleep up to four, in a lovely setting of large sheltering trees.

Ohelo Berry Cottage is a sweet studio cottage, a favorite among romantic couples. Queen size bed, dining area, private bathroom and covered front porch.
