Bed and Breakfast Description

Once the main house on 1260 acres, built in 1832, this beautiful home is now nestled in the center of cozy Prattville, a bedroom community of Montgomery, Alabama. It’s like visiting the country without leaving the city. Old historic downtown Prattville offers monuments, shopping, antiques, cafes, parks and fountains. Heading east, you'll find golfing, modern shopping conveniences and quality restaurants. Local fishing on the Alabama River is only 5 miles away. Come relax at the Koi pond, barbecue on Whistlers Back Porch, or walk the more than 4 acres. Some of our visitors have felt the special touch of old "Mr. Davis", the infamous ghost who likes women and hates magnolia. Don't be afraid, he may or may not be in our imagination.

The Plantation House Bed and Breakfast offers numerous amenities, including fine linens and fresh flowers. Room amenities include iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. Guests are offered complimentary tea and coffee freshly brewed with Artesian Well water.

The Piano Parlor
Come home to an evening in the parlor. There is a baby grand for your enjoyment, or have an afternoon tea and book, but whatever you do...rest. Come see our Antiques! Like Ernest Hemingway's Pen Set. (Investigated by the director of a Cultural Assimilation Center.)

The Crews Room: The elegant, oversized King four-poster bed is dressed in feather topper and velveteen comforter. The wedding bath features an unusual Jacuzzi tub facing a fireplace. This combination is a setting where you can make a lifetime memory.

The Pittman Room: Should you desire a more feminine touch, the Pittman Room is a double 30's style mahogany suite. Sit at the dressing table and imagine what life might have been like in the early 1900's, or, even more fun, the 1800's.
