Bed and Breakfast Description

New Orleans, Louisiana bed and breakfast: Victorian House

Staying true to the 110 year old history of the house, all of our rooms are Victorian in feel, and modern in comforts. Historic architectural elements abound, with 12 foot ceilings, large windows, mantles, clawfoot tubs, plaster ceiling medallions, period furniture, and Persian rugs. Along with the sense of history, you enjoy the comforts of the present, with cable equipped flat-screen tv’s in each room, dvd-ready. The beds are all made with 300+ thread count 100% cotton sateen sheets. All rooms are conditioned with central heat and air, making your stay the perfect combination of past and present luxury.

The house is certainly charmed, as well as charming. She has survived the separate fires that took the metaphorical lives of the buildings immediately adjacent to her. By the mid 20th century, the theatre to the left, and the house to the right burned to the ground, leaving our beautiful “painted lady” unscathed. Come stay with us! Let us be your home base, as you experience the variety of things you can do from The Victorian House, on Rampart Street, in the historic French Quarter!
