The Inn features six period-furnished rooms (four in the Head Lightkeepers House and two handicapped accessible Garden Cottages) offering its guests a fascinating blend of romance, history, and tranquil privacy and comfort. Situated on coastal terraces, just 57 feet above the ocean's waves, the Inn's rooms and amenities entice guests to unwind, relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the Light Station's coastal grandeur.

Begin your day leisurely sipping organic Lightkeeper's coffee or tea while watching fishing boats and wildlife (including whales and over 50 different species of birds) from the Inn's watch porch, parlor, or the evolving historic gardens.

Enjoy a five-course gourmet breakfast in the elegantly decorated dining room, and then take a stroll to the visit the Lighthouse, Lightkeeper's Museum (just next door), the 250-gallon tidal aquarium, or explore over 3.2 miles of bluff top trails. The Inn is a great place to relax, or it can serve as your base for fun-filled coastal adventures and visits to nearby historic venues.

Area attractions along with Ft. Bragg/Mendocino and many wonderful wineries are only a short distance from the Inn. Both communities, and their surrounding coastal region, feature a wide variety of year round activities and events.

The Lightkeepers Room is appointed with beautiful antiques, elegant linens, and a sitting area with three large double-hung windows overlooking the nature preserve (birds/deer watching), Mendocino headlands, and Pacific Ocean (whale watching).

The Lighthouse Room is decorated with beautiful antiques, a sitting area, and overlooks the Point Cabrillo Lighthouse with its working Fresnel lens and the Pacific Ocean. A wonderful room for an anniversary or birthday suprise for that special someone.

Reservation Notes:

Cancellation policy: With 7-day notice (14 day notice for multiple rooms/holiday)refund less $25 service fee. Within 7 days of arrival (14 for multiple rooms/ holidays), refund if room is re-rented, less $25 service fee. Any cancellation must be confirmed by telephone contact with Inn staff.
