Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams
Whether you're hosting a formal get-together or need a quick brunch idea, this book will spark your imagination and your appetite.
Korner Kottage
Suttons Bay, Michigan.
At the Korner Kottage B&B, living the sweet life is not only possible, it's the rule. Come stay awhile. Feed your soul, inspire your heart. Rest your body. Revel in the romance for which this home was built, and steal away with your true love.
Bed and Breakfast Description

At the Korner Kottage, four guest rooms are available: In the England Room you'll find a soft queen bed embraced inside toasty terra cotta walls. In The Paris Room loll around in the king-sized bed at room's center. Our coziest rooms are downstairs and offer queen beds.
No matter which room you choose, you'll find the amenities equally sumptuous in each. You'll find a small refrigerator in every room, each stocked with chilled water and essential for any guests who like to stash away something for a midnight snack. Thick, fluffy robes and warm slippers are yours for however long you stay. The final flourish? A chocolate on your pillow—a sweet send-off to an even sweeter slumber.
Our menu changes with the seasons, but our specialty—one we never waver from—is using locally grown and made foods whenever possible. On our table, you'll find maple syrup coaxed from the trees at Leelanau Peninsula Maple Sugar Bush. And the best eggs, cheese, meat, veggies and fruit we can find at the local farmers market.
Area Attractions and Activities:
Here on Leelanau Peninsula—often called Michigan's pinkie finger—forest, orchards, vineyards, quaint towns and nearly 100 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline are yours to discover.
History Lovers: Head to the tiny town of Northport, then head to Leelanau State Park along M-109 to see the Grand Traverse Lighthouse, a stately 1800's-era lighthouse that's open to the public and outfitted the way it was when the keepers and their families lived here more than a century ago. You may also visit Leland's Fishtown, a 140-year-old fishing village whose weathered shanties and shops are wonderful for shopping and camera shots.
Romance: There are over a dozen wineries on the Peninsula and eight within minutes of Korner Kottage.
Nature: Try biking at the Leelanau Trail a 15 mile gravel paved path that passes through forest, meadows and farmland-with views of lakes, ponds and meandering streams. See the dunes at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park and climb or hike at Pyramid Point.
Services:
Cable TV, refrigerator, ceiling fan, wireless Internet, guest phone & fax
Most Popular Rooms:
Follow your fancy to our England Room, where, behind a door crowned with a stained-glass transom window, you'll find a soft queen bed embraced inside toasty terra cotta walls, a window that overlooks the backyard garden and a private bathroom.
