Bed and Breakfast Description

Our Victorian house, with its 2 story carriage house in the rear, is only 3 blocks to the Historic Independence Square with restaurants, antique and specialty shops, 4 screen movie theatre and many historic sites. Yet our property is secluded from the hustle and bustle of every day life, and provides a quiet stay surrounded by gardens and birds.

A full breakfast of ham and cheese breakfast quiche, spiced fruit compote, muffins, juice and coffee or tea is served in this dining room on antique china. The table is graced by a lace tablecloth and candlelight while a host of antique dolls look on. Or if you stay in a room with a kitchen, you may choose to have a continental breakfast (cereal, sweet roll, juice, coffee or tea) in your room. 24 hours notice required for in-room breakfast service.

End of Trails Suite: Has a majestic king size bed, sitting area, kitchen, train pictures, books and a electric train. Located on the 1st floor of the carriage house.

Garden Room: Lace curtains, flowered linens, candy and candles make even this small room a pleasant Victorian getaway. This room is located on the lower level of the main house.
