The Terrell House is a restored, early 1900's Colonial, built as a girl's dormitory for the Stanley McCormick School. The bed and breakfast inn has six lovely guest rooms, each with private bath, sitting area, and queen or twin beds.

An attractive house with Smokey Mountain views, 6 bedrooms all with private baths, 5 have queen size beds, one room has twins, a back terrace to chill out, only 10 minutes walk from beautiful and Historic Burnsville. Each room has a seating area and two have convertible sofas.

A special and formal breakfast on silver service is served daily. Property was a dormitory for a girls school built in 1920's and is decorated tastefully.

Lots to see and do, McIlroy Historic House, crafts (World famous Penland is nearby), walking, gem panning, shops, golf (45 minutes away). Something is happening in Burnsville most weekends.

Many nearby attractions... Mount Mitchell (6,684 ft)is nearby and easily reached. Antique shopping, art galleries, historical interests, live music, movie theater, National & State parks, nature area, gem panning, festivals, golf (Mt. Mitchell, Reems Creek, etc), Penland Arts and Crafts Centre, McIlroy Historic House, Performing Theater, picnic areas and religious services.
