This one-of-a-kind B & B is located in Duck on North Carolina's beautiful Outer Banks, frequented year round by discerning travelers, having earned a reputation for its beautiful beaches, recreational opportunities, and clean, safe environment. Conveniently located within walking distance to the Atlantic Ocean and the Currituck Sound, guests enjoy access to a great variety of water sports and outdoor activities; also located within walking distance is Duck’s Village, renowned for its shopping, dining, and park. Advice 5˘ is a unique alternative for travelers not looking for a weeklong vacation rental or full-service resort. Currently in its 13th season, the B & B has an established history and continues to fill a niche for visitors and enjoys a high frequency of repeat guests.

Custom built in 1995, the B & B has been referred to in travel guides as a “seaside haven,” featuring a signature ship’s watch and distinctive coastal cottage elements. As is typical on the Outer Banks, its reverse floor plan captures panoramic views and was designed for guest comfort, with abundant common areas located on the uppermost level. Common areas feature a wood burning fireplace, wet bar & ice maker in the great room, hardwood floors in foyer, hallway & dining room, juniper ceiling accents & wainscoting in addition to maximized natural lighting. A covered front porch and ocean breeze deck allow for the enjoyment of outdoor space. All guest rooms are appointed with private baths & decks, cable television and complimentary wireless Internet access. Additionally, on site outdoor showers, locking storage area, ample off street parking, and on-site massage therapy all add to guest comfort convenience.
