Situated on 16 lovely acres, it boasts beautiful grounds and six glorious guest bedrooms, each with its own private bath. Featuring ultra-luxurious bedding, luxury feather pillows, down comforters and soft, thirsty towels. Bright and spacious, each room has a desk, comfortable seating, cable TV/VCR radio alarm clock and an assortment of literature.

Bountiful breakfasts are served whenever you wish, accommodating both early morning meetings and lazy vacations. Breakfast begins with fresh fruit and freshly baked muffins, scones or coffee cake. The menu offers a wide assortment of entrees including popular selections like buttermilk pancakes, tomato/basil/brie omelets, poached eggs on wheat toast, and granola with vanilla yogurt and fresh berries.

Our sixteen acres include a large swimming pond, basketball half-court, target golf course, gardens and sitting areas as well as hiking trails that link to the Appalachian Trail. Snowshoeing, cross country skiing, sledding and ice skating keep our cold weather enthusiasts happily occupied. Golf, canoeing, downhill skiing and other recreational activities are less than 15 minutes away. This winter the snow is coming early and looks great for skiing. We have snowshoes available for guests use to encourage you to explore our grounds and the local trails!

Just across the river in Norwich, Vermont you'll find King Arthur Flour Baker's Store which offers wonderful baking classes.

Dartmouth College — Ivy league college located in Hanover, NH less than 10 minutes away. The home page includes academic, athletic, cultural and local event information.

Dartmouth Skiway — Dartmouth's ski area located just 18 minutes away in Lyme, NH. Rarely crowded, it has excellent snow making and grooming as well as a top notch ski school.

Most Popular Rooms:

The Suite: A two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite. The master bedroom is oversized and has a king size bed, sitting area, plus a large bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. A separate sitting/bedroom has a twin trundle bed, window seat, and private bath.

The White Room: A bright, spacious room on the second floor with a queen size four poster bed and a comfortable sofa that converts to a queen size bed. Large private bath with shower/tub and two sinks.
