Saltwood House is ideally situated on Jackson Street - the heart of Cape May’s primary historic district. All the modern conveniences. Every effort has been made to give the house the ambience of a historic private residence.

The look is bright and airy, the colors are warm, the feeling is open. Wonderful rooms and suites with private baths, some with ocean views. Suites have separate sitting areas, one suite with two bedrooms.

All stays include homecooked breakfast, use of beach towels and beach chairs, in room coffee and tea makers, in room refrigerators, afternoon refreshments, a private, enclosed beach shower with dressing area, TVs, DVDs and extensive free movie library.

Nestled mid-block on this delightful street, the Saltwood House is only one-half block from the beach and is equally close to the Washington Street Mall, the town’s main shopping district. Many of Cape May’s finest restaurants are also within easy walking distance.

Saratoga Room: This pleasant room has a wonderful bay window view of Jackson Street. Features a queen bed and an ornate gargoyle oak headboard, new bath, 1905 larkin desk - all complemented by Victorian chrysanthemum wallpaper.

The Newport Suite: Beautifully appointed in shades of rose and authentic Victorian antiques. Queen size bed, private bathroom, & separate sitting room featuring a wet bar, refrigerator & cable TV. Limited ocean views, ceiling fan & air conditioning.
