Bed and Breakfast Description

Hotel Matador is a newly-restored bed and breakfast in downtown Matador, Texas. This West Texas community has a rich ranching heritage, offers abundant hunting opportunities, and is located in the beautiful Caprock Foothills. Hotel Matador opened for business in 1915. Renovations have returned the historic building to its former glory. The new owners and hostesses are three sisters with ties to the community that span five generations.
Your innkeepers are Linda Roy, Caron Perkins, and Marilynn Hicks. Two of us are retired school administrators eager to begin a new career. Marilynn is a former home economics teacher who is an excellent cook. Linda is a former English and journalism teacher who will be glad to assist you in document preparation. Caron is still actively employed at UTPB. We are all West Texas women who love to host new friends in our newly-restored, historic bed and breakfast.
Step into the Hotel Matador Bed and Breakfast and admire the original oak floor, white tin ceilings, vented skylight and full-wall barber mirror. Mornings at the Hotel Matador Bed and Breakfast are special and start with a full, gourmet breakfast in the graciously appointed dining room. Relax in beautifully appointed guestrooms; each with a private bathroom, flat-screen cable television, individual climate control, and wireless Internet.
