During warmer weather, bike, golf, fish, tube, kayak, and hike the State Park, or spend the days wandering auctions, flea markets and antique stores, all within a short distance of the Inn. Every day begins with a hearty Highlands Inn breakfast, which may include homemade scones and muffins, waffles, French toast, pancakes, egg dishes, and fruits of the season... all topped off with plenty of fresh butter, jams, marmalades, and pure Fleischmanns Maple Syrup, hot coffee and tea. The Allgonquin: Our most romantic room with a beautiful king size brass bed and newly renovated private bath with a tub shower. The bathroom door has a full length inlaid beveled mirror. The room also has a stained glass palladian window.

The Peekamoose: The beautiful Victorian headboard on the queen size bed is what makes this room. The smallest of our rooms, it is the coziest, with its own sink. Shared bath. Overlooks our spacious backyard.
