![]() The beautiful formal floral gardens add to the natural beauty. The interior of the building is a graceful mix of the elegance of a castle with the warmth of a home. The guestrooms are decorated with European antiques while the common rooms have a more modern feel. Area Attractions and Activities: There are two outstanding State parks near the Arch Cape House. Ten minutes north there is Ecola State park and five minutes south there is Oswald West State park. There is a long white sand beach in Arch Cape, which is largely undiscovered, with the caves of Hug Point at the north end and the 'arch' and tides pools at the south end. Kayaking on the Nehalem River or the estuary of the River is great fun. There is great horseback riding in both Cannon Beach and Nehalem. Services: Gardens, Jacuzzi, sauna, living room, oceanview deck, 3 minute walk to beach Most Popular Rooms: The Ginger Room: Decorated with blue and white fabrics, Oriental ginger jars and a comfortable love seat in front of the fireplace and TV. A king size Austrian bed dominates the room. The Provence Suite: An intimate suite on the garden level, furnished in antique pine. Handsome French doors off the sitting room lead to a private patio. The bedroom has a queen bed and a jetted Jacuzzi tub. Check In Instructions: Guests arriving after 6:00 p.m., please call the Innkeeper directly at 503-436-2800 to make special after-hours check-in arrangements. Thank you. |
