Purple Sage Inn aka The William Derby Johnson, Jr. House is listed on The National Register of Historic Places and is the winner of the Utah Heritage Foundation's 2002 Heritage Award. The home was also featured in five issues of Victorian Homes magazine.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Living room is large with plenty of room for playing games, relaxing, visiting or watching television.

The Master Suite consists of a 16 by 16-feet square bedroom and is home to a beautiful King-size plus brass bed (actually two beds joined together with a specially constructed mattress). A vintage chaise lounge or fainting couch, Victorian dresser with mirror, writing table and chair, nightstands, and a fireplace topped with a cabinet from an old-time barbershop. A south-side door leads out to a large private porch with comfortable wicker rocking chairs and tables for your enjoyment and relaxation.

Kanab sits at the crossroads to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Toroweap (a remote but spectacular view of the Grand Canyon), Zion National Park, Lake Powell, and Bryce Canyon National Park.
