Graced with Southwestern elegance, our comfortable guest rooms provide a refuge for guests in need of rest, respite, and renewal.

La Posada offers six charming guest rooms, each with private baths, tastefully decorated with country antiques, handmade quilts, local arts, and attention to detail.

In the rooms with Kiva fireplaces, a fire is prepared daily by the Innkeeper from November to mid-April.

We have a new large dining room with 13' high beamed ceiling overlooking the garden & Taos Mountain. Also added: private patios for 2 rooms.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Discover the magic that is Taos. A world-famous artistic and literary center, Taos is celebrated for its museums, art galleries, and history as a popular destination for many 20th-century painters, photographers, actors, and writers—among them Ansel Adams, Georgia O'Keefe, D. H. Lawrence, and Dennis Hopper.

When you stay at La Posada, you're just blocks away from over eighty galleries, museums, shops and wonderful restaurants. Located on a rolling mesa at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Taos offers visitors world-class outdoor recreation. Ride the whitewater down the Rio Grande, horseback ride or hike through the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, ski down world-class Taos Ski Valley slopes or enjoy nearby cross-country ski areas.
