 This is the essence of Mariposa Ranch...the chance to slip away from your hectic life to a quieter realm where there are no set agendas. You have the choice of doing everything - or nothing at all. Private cabins, cottages and suites, most historically significant, include an 1860 Texas Plantation home, an early Texas antique log cabin, an 1836 Greek Revival, and a 1900's Texas farmhouse. Accommodations in eight buildings include two large rooms in an 1870 Plantation home, an 1825 log cabin, a quaint cottage, two luxurious suites in an 1836 Greek Revival home, a turn-of-the-century Texas farmhouse (the original homestead on this working ranch) and a real ranch hand's bunkhouse, and a real cowboy cabin. All rooms have private baths, some with Jacuzzis-for-two, antique claw foot tubs, and romantic fireplaces. We offer "Enchanted Evening" and "Hideaway Weekend" packages, private massages, picnic baskets, private dinners, and breakfast in bed. Ask about our special $79.00 weekday room rates!
