Bed and Breakfast Description

Guarded by the rolling hills of the Paso Robles wine country, the Carriage Vineyards B&B offers guests quiet luxury and the extraordinary hospitality of innkeepers, Kristi & Stan Barefoot. Whether seeking a romantic getaway or a secluded retreat from the daily rush, this special Paso Robles B&B may exceed your expectations.

The growing interest in horse drawn vehicles has developed for many reasons. One will fully appreciate the brief moment it takes for us to start a car and quickly move about our highway system, after the time and effort it takes to put a pair of horses to the carriage and then reverse the process to put them away!

We have put together a collection of about 12 vehicles. Most of them are about 100 years-old. We have built a 2,400 square foot carriage home to display them. The room is also a great place for gatherings to enjoy the carriages and the setting in the vineyards. The variety of carriages range from formal to the everyday "runabout". Please feel free to visit us and get a feel for what travel used to be!

Victoria Suite: 2nd story master suite w/a queen bed & oversized shower & Jacuzzi tub for 2. 2 window seats w/view of a small orchard, vineyard & garden pool area. Features a small writing desk & sitting area, antique dressers, end tables & photographs.

Phaeton Suite: Has a four poster king size bed decorated with grape vines and soft lighting. Antique dressers, nightstands and a needlework sampler. Don't forget to make some time to relax in the Jacuzzi tub. Private entrance.
