Bed and Breakfast Description

In 1896, two houses of unknown vintage were barged across San Diego Bay to Coronado Island and joined together with additional structure for the purpose of operating a public lodging house. This establishment began operation as The Cherokee Lodge and has 12 bedrooms plus common areas.

The Cherokee Lodge derives its name from the Cherokee Roses that bordered the property at the turn-of-the-century.

The Cherokee Lodge is located just one short block from the center of downtown Coronado and only three blocks from one of the finest beaches in Southern California. We are only ten minutes from the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park,Seaport Village, the San Diego Convention Center, and Petco Park. We are about fifteen minutes from Seaworld, and the Wild Animal Park, and Lego Land are within driving distance.

Most Popular Rooms:

One of our largest rooms is our Super King which has a king bed,a double pull-out and a large full bath. We do have less expensive rooms available, ie king rooms, rooms with one double size bed, etc.

Check In Instructions:

Guests arriving outside of the check-in time of 2- 4pm will pick up an envelope at the front door with self check-in instructions. Thank you, 1-877-743-6213.
