Our Inn is a serene country retreat surrounded by picturesque mountain views, majestic hardwood forests and rushing woodland streams. It is located along a rushing woodland stream, which flows from the Shenandoah National Park, 2 miles west of our Inn.

Only 20 minutes west of Charlottesville, Virginia, our seventy acre setting offers you a kind and gentle refuge, yet is convenient to Monticello and other early presidential homes, the University of Virginia, wineries, antique shopping, restaurants and other favorite attractions.

All bedrooms have king, queen or twin beds, private baths; some offer whirlpool tubs and wood burning fireplaces. In the morning, awaken to the aromas of your full country breakfast.

You may relax in one of our comfortable guest areas including the sunroom, the study with TV, the family room with huge palladian window with direct view to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Explore the herb and flower gardens adjacent to our mountain brook; hike from our front door into the Shenandoah National Park and directly to the Appalachian Trail; visit wineries and historical sites; go fishing, horseback riding or tubing on the gentle James River.

In winter months, join us for a scrumptious candlelight dinner, by reservation, on Saturday evening. If you wish, we'll give you touring advice, directions, and call for reservations and information for you.
