Bed and Breakfast Description

Guests enjoy our 20 acres of forest and meadowlands. The property adjoins miles of walking trails and the Saratoga Forest. Watch wildlife from the deck of your room, and you might see a blue heron taking a quick bath in the pond. On clear nights, many guests enjoy stargazing and finding their favorite constellations.

Island Tyme is conveniently located near Langley, the village by the sea and many other popular destinations. Island Tyme is not just a summer destination, we are open year round and available for retreats, family reunions, weddings and other group events.

We offer five guestrooms: two rooms feature two-person Jacuzzi spa tubs, and two rooms have wood fireplaces. Our suite offers both a Jacuzzi spa and a fireplace. We have one pet-friendly and wheelchair accessible room that features a gas fireplace.

The great room has cozy furniture to sink yourself into while enjoying the warmth of the fireplace. Enjoy a cookie from the cookie jar, and a beverage from the complimentary beverage service.

Breakfast is served in the turret dining room where you can dine at a private table for two, or join other guests at the center table. A generous continental breakfast is served on weekdays. On weekends, a full breakfast is served.

Area Attractions and Activities:

There are many year round events and activities that are just a short drive from Island Tyme. Visit the county fair in August, tour bed and breakfasts in December, participate in the Mystery Weekend in March, or listen to live music at the jazz fest in October.

Scenic Langley, the village by the sea, is 2 miles away and home to art galleries, glass blowing studios, antiques shops, fine dining, theater, public beach access and a public marina. Ebey's Landing is a short drive away as is Fort Casey, a great place for kite flying and exploring.

Wildlife and birds abound, and you can view them from the deck of your room. Hiking trails adjoin the property. Nearby Farmer's Markets are open from April through October. The off-leash dog beach is just 3 miles away.

Most Popular Rooms:

Heirloom Suite: A private deck overlooks the gardens, the woods, the pasture, that is home to our ducks and goats, and the barn. Guests enjoy a comfortable queen bed, Jacuzzi spa, and full bathroom. The sitting room has a woodburning fireplace.

The Keepsake Room: This ground level room features a queen bed warmed by a gas fireplace with an antique wood mantle. This pet-friendly room has a private shaded deck, a full bath, and is wheelchair accessible.
