 We recently finished extensively remodeling and refurbishing all our cozy suites. Beautifully updated in the finest traditional Texas Hill Country style, they are still as familiar and inviting as a visit to a favorite aunt's old German-Texas home. Almost all suites have charming freestanding porcelain and cast-iron gas fireplaces, and all suites have spacious new vanity areas with hairdryers, coffee makers, irons and ironing boards, and new heating and air conditioning units. After your peaceful night's rest, we serve a hearty breakfast each morning in our historic 1887 Gast Haus dining room overlooking the creek. Area Attractions and Activities: With a classic, oversize swimming pool, and spacious grounds on scenic, tree-lined, Cypress Creek perfect for fishing, canoeing and picnicking, the Meyer Bed & Breakfast is an ideal setting for enjoying the Texas Hill Country's superb climate and unique natural beauty. Our beautiful 27-acre nature area has recently been opened for our guest's use. This secluded spot has groves of pecan trees, fields of wildflowers, abundant deer and wildlife for nature lovers to enjoy.
