Step back into history, and spend some time in a turn-of-the-century bed and breakfast in scenic old town Mukilteo, Washington. Enjoy comfortable vintage furniture, old-world finishes, hand-painted murals and antique collectibles throughout.

Hogland House's small, intimate setting includes two rooms in the main house. Each features a queen-sized bed, full bath, and all of the amenities to help you feel at home.

After a hearty country breakfast prepared by Kay Hogland-Scheller, walk the five acres of wooded paths, listen to robins singing and wander down to the beaches to see up close that breathtaking view of Puget Sound you enjoy from our living room and gazebo.

Relax on the porches in the evening, watching ferries go by and listening to the birds chirp as you plan the next day's events.

Hogland House is a short drive - and in many cases, a short walk - from a range of fine dining opportunities as well as countless recreational and sight-seeing venues. Please visit the links on the Things to do page at left to see some of the locals' favorite spots.

The Hogland House is more than a century old, having been originally built in 1906. Everett and Valeria Hogland purchased the property in 1942, and more than 60 years later it remains in the family, now in the care of daughter Kay Hogland-Scheller.

The Hogland House Bed & Breakfast is conveniently located for many of the wonderful attractions of Mukilteo, Washington, as well as short excursions to interesting places close by. Take the ferry to Whidbey Island or take in the sights of Seattle and the Space Needle.

The Hogland House is close by the State Park including a beach and boat launch, and a short drive to the Boeing 747 Plant.

A short walk down Front Street takes you to a walk-out pier with expansive views of the Port of Everett and the San Juan Islands. After sightseeing, relax on our outdoor porches or in our picturesque gazebo. Enjoy the hot tub while watching the ferry, or sit by the fireplace and surround yourself in Victorian elegance.
