The Pilgrim House has been beautifully restored offering charming accommodations with classic period furnishings.

The Inn boasts large rooms with high ceilings and heavy moldings around windows and doors harmonizing happily with the antique beds, dressers and armoires that we've located in many of Rhode Island's antique stores.

Each of our 11 rooms has its own personality and appeal matching the Victorian decor of the time.

Newport is also central to many points of interest close by; less than a 40 minute drive from Providence and Fall River and a one-hour ferry ride to Block Island. Newport is close to vineyards, galleries, factory outlets and antique cooperatives. Just two minutes away, there are two nationally-recognized wildlife refuges that offer bird watchers self-guided tours.
