Bed and Breakfast Description

The Olallieberry Inn is one of the oldest buildings in Cambria and is a registered historic home. Located on Main Street at the edge of East Village, we are within walking distance of many shops, galleries and restaurants, and just two miles from the beach. Hearst Castle is seven miles up Highway One, and the wineries of the Central Coast are approximately fifteen minutes away.

Our home has nine guest rooms, six in the main building and three in the Innkeeper's Cottage. Each room is uniquely decorated with antique furniture and has it own style and character. All of the rooms have a fireplace. All rooms have a private bath.

Our wonderful home is full of warmth and charm. Visit with other guests in the sun-filled Gathering Room, discover our "Secret Garden," relax on the back porch overlooking the Santa Rosa Creek, or enjoy a relaxing massage from Innkeeper Marilyn.

In the late afternoon, we serve our guests a variety of local wines with delicious hors d'ouevres such as Baked Brie, Hot Crab Dip, and more. In the morning, you will be treated to a fabulous gourmet breakfast. Our breakfasts always include freshly squeezed juice, freshly brewed coffee, fresh baked muffins or breads, a variety of cereals, seasonal fruit, and a hot entree such as Olallieberry Stuffed French Toast, Chili Cheese Souffle, Pecan Cinnamon Pancakes, and more.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Enjoy the village of Cambria with its art galleries, antique shops, unique gift shops and fine restaurants. Take a winery tour to some of the area's internationally recognized wineries. Visit the Hearst Castle.

Walk along the magnificent Pacific Ocean. Watch the elephant seals, sea otters or go whalewatching. Take a hike or a bike ride or go horseback riding or kayaking. Several local festivities throughout the year.

Most Popular Rooms:

Sunrise: Upstairs room with a beautiful view of the creek and pasture beyond from its own balcony. A stunning headboard sets off the king bed; fireplace adds cheery touch; in-room bath with tub & shower. Bright & airy, kissed by the day's first light.

San Simeon: High wainscot ceilings and crown molding create a wonderful sense of spaciousness. With its soft colors and a corner fireplace, it invites you to relax and unwind. The bath has an over-sized sunken tub with shower.
