The inn is a charming addition to the natural beauty of Carmel. Stone from the Carmel river covers the lower level of the inn and surrounds the fireplace in each guestroom.

Bed and Breakfast Description

It always feels like spring in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Perennially flowering gardens, charming cottages and endless white sand beaches entice visitors to return year after year. Tucked away in a quiet corner of this haven is the English-country Cobblestone Inn.

Breakfast is savored each morning on the flowering patio, and afternoon wine and hors d'oeuvres are enjoyed in front of the crackling fire in our comfortable dining room.

Each of the charming 24 guestrooms has either a queen or king bed, fireplace, television, and refrigerator with complimentary soft drinks. The suite has a four poster bed, jetted tub, window seat, fireplace and sitting area.

The Cobblestone Inn is perfectly located to explore the shops and galleries of Carmel, by foot or on one of our bicycles!

Part of the Monterey Peninsula, Carmel offers an array of activities including shopping on Ocean Aveune, wine tasting in Carmel Valley, visiting the world famous Monterey Bay Aquarium, walks on the beach, hikes in Big Sur, and dining at award-winning restaurants. Many families will take advantage of our king guestrooms that offer a sitting area with fold-out sofa. These rooms are spacious and accommodate up to four individuals. Includes private bath and fireplace.

One of our most popular rooms is room 19, with a spacious floor plan including a sitting area, fireplace, canopy bed, windowseat and bathroom with a jetted spa tub.
