Just north of Lake Ontario located midway between Toronto and Ottawa you will discover the beautiful Kawarthas. Nestled among the many lakes and small friendly towns, just north of Peterborough, lies Selwyn Shores Waterfront Bed and Breakfast.

Stay in one of our comfortable rooms, enjoy a delicious breakfast, and relax. We have five guest rooms, two with ensuite private bath and the remaining three rooms sharing two washrooms.

Our waterfront property affords great fishing and gorgeous sunsets. Dockage and no fee boat launch. Boat trailer parking for guests available. Extensive decking and landscaping. Upscale decor. Waterfront property with dockage, local to several fine restaurants, art galleries, golf courses, trails, museums, antique shops. Best Breakfast!

Fish for bass, carp, bluegill, crappie, walleye or muskie.

Visit the Petroglyphs and the Peterborough Liftlocks.

For those interested in Native Culture, visit the Curve Lake Reserve, and Whetuns Ojibwa Art Center.

We are within ten minutes of the towns of Buckhorn, Lakefield, Bridgenorth, Youngs Point and the City of Peterborough. Each offer something to see.

In the summer, alot of guests choose to sit on the dock and relax. We are a half way drive between Niagara Falls and Ottawa, so a great place to slow down while travelling.

In the winter, you can snowmobile or cross country ski with your equipment on the lake, which is very frozen!!

The fall colours are magnificent as the leaves change colour any time between late September and late October.

Most Popular Rooms:

"Sunset View": Has a king size bed, bar fridge, microwave, TV. Walk out to private patio with two comfortable chairs overlooking the lake. It has a new electric firplace with optional crackling sound!

Kilcoo has a queen bed and private ensuite bath. Given its mainfloor location, it is popular amongst seniors.
