Bed and Breakfast Description

A collection of at least 20 tree varieties have been planted by a succession of the General's descendants. Perennial gardens along with a field of wild flowers abound for your enjoyment.

Our massive fireplace in the center of the 45 foot long living room is a special area to snuggle and dream -- winter and summer. The library end of the room is filled with a collection of familiar old favorites. A versatile collection of art and hardwood floor throughout the house provide an air of relaxation.

Enjoy a full country breakfast including freshly ground coffee or a variety of teas and juice, fruits of the season, homemade delicacies with herbs and veggies from the General's Garden, all prepared for your personal pleasure.

Most Popular Rooms:

General's Room: Rugs and artwork with an Oriental flavor. A canopied king size bed and lacy curtains provide an air of romance. A television and video are discretely hidden in the desk. A private bath features a clawfoot tub/shower.

Sunshine Room: A decor of yellow and blue with a collection of lovely art to reflect the sunshine and pleasure of the colors. Pillows, and flowers from the Gereral's garden add to your pleasure. A antique clawfoot tub and shower compliments the bathroom.
